Using the Checklists view, manage the checklists that have been assigned to a particular employee by keeping track of their overall progress, with those that have overdue tasks flagged with a red line.
Visible initially is some key information relating to the assigned checklists. These fields include:
Regarding | Who the checklist is regarding. |
Checklist Name | Name of the assigned checklist template. |
Status | The checklist progress (%). |
Type | Checklist types e.g., Onboarding, offboarding. |
Created By | Who assigned the checklist to the employee. |
Created | The date the checklist was assigned to the employee. |
Filtering the Checklist View
By clicking on the filter icon in the top right of the screen,
it is possible to tailor the results of your checklist view by status, type and who the checklist is regarding:
To apply your filters, simply select from the status or type dropdown, or type the name of the employee in the Regarding field. The screen will automatically update to include all checklists that match your criteria:
Reviewing Checklist Progress
To view details of the checklist, select one of the names in the list to be redirected to a new screen. Here you will be able to view the list of tasks associated with the checklist template, as well as their current status.
Title | The title of the task. |
Due | Due date for the assigned task. |
Status | In progress, completed, withdrawn. |
Comments | A count of any comments added to the task progress. |
Type | The type of task, e.g., action, notification, document. |
Assigned To | Which employee the task has been assigned to for completion. |
Regarding |
Which employee the task is regarding. |
There are a few actions that the HR user can perform from the Checklist view once expanded, and are available by using the action buttons below:
Selecting the (+) icon allows the HR user to create a new task from the Checklists view by completing the following dialog pop up:
Clicking Save will add the task to the current checklist for the employee.
Checklist Actions
Using the icon will bring up more actions available to the HR user as displayed below:
Reapply Checklist |
Any changes made to to the checklist template can be applied to employees who have been assigned this particular checklist before the amendments. If you do not wish to add the amendments to checklists currently in progress, you can skip this action. |
Withdraw Checklist | If a checklist is no longer in use, or has been assigned in error, HR can use the 'withdraw checklist option to remove that checklist and all tasks from the employee. |
Complete Checklist | HR users may override task completion by using the complete checklist option. |
