System Configuration

Before using the Appraisal feature, there are a few configuration options available so that the software caters directly to your requirements. To access the configuration section, click on the following System Configuration option within the administration menu:

General

Most of the settings in the System Configuration section relate to the look and language used within the Appraisal forms, as well as how the system notifies an Appraiser/Appraisee.

From the General tab, you can choose to edit how the Email Notifications behave, and who receives them:

Disable Emails	Toggling this will disable all email notifications from sent by the APHR Appraisal feature.
Overridden Email Address(es)	If an email is present in this field, the software will send all notification emails directly to the email specified instead of the user/appraiser etc.
HR Email Address	HR email notifications will be sent to this address (multiple addresses should be separated by a comma).
Allow appraisals to be edited before self-assessment is retuned	Toggling this option will allow the appraiser access to the self-certification before it has been submitted/completed by the appraisee.
Date Format	Date format for the appraisal document.

Sign Off

Allowing an employee to view Appraisals before completion can be given by checking the option in
the Sign Off settings. A View Appraisal Summary tab will be available from the My Appraisal dashboard.

Editing the employee Sign Off text of the system configuration allows you to customise the
statement that appears when the employee is asked to acknowledge what the Appraiser has
written.

PDF Settings

The PDF Settings section allows you to choose the overall look and format of the Appraisal PDF.

The editing options have been split into three categories detailed in the table below:

Header Config	Choose whether or not to display a header in your finished PDF; if Yes, you can stipulate which colour. Additionally, you can add a Header Image.
Footer Config	Settings relating to the document footer. You can opt to match your footer colour, or select a different one, as well as your page numbering format.
Content Config	The content configuration allows you to change the background of the appraisal PDF document.
