GDPR - Communication and Consent

GDPR - The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) represents the European Union’s framework for safeguarding the personal data of its citizens.

Activ People HR – This encompasses all hosted Activ solutions, including: Absence, Appraisals, Documents, Handbook, Timesheets, Training, and any other solutions offered under the Activ People HR brand.

Data Controllers – Within the context of Activ People HR, the Data Controllers are the customer employee(s) who possess HR and Administration Access privileges. The customer will designate a Primary Data Controller to facilitate communication in the event of an information security incident.

Data Processors – In relation to Activ People HR, the data processors are Codel Software Ltd and its support personnel.

It is the responsibility of the Data Controller to inform individuals about the data being stored and the rationale for its retention. For instance, the HR Consent Form may indicate that the company will maintain employees' leave and absence records within Activ People HR; this information will be utilized to manage absences within the organization and to generate management statistics and reports.
